We are seeking a self-motivated, innovative thinker, with the ability to work as part of a team and think quickly in high pressure situations. The Sales Engineer is responsible for supporting the sale of the company products and services by demonstrating solutions to prospective buyers, at any location within the Americas. S/he will oversee the assembly, ownership, coordination and completion responsible for the creation, preparation, assembly and delivery of Request for Information (RFI) , Request for Proposal (RFP), and Due Diligence questionnaires; also responsible for loading prospect and sample data and preparing proof of concept requirements. S/He will accurately and favorably present Eagle Investment Systems’ products and services to prospective or existing clients. S/He will respond to RFPs in light of the organization's products, services, capabilities, and legal guidelines. S/He will understand the asset management business, the basic tenets of the Eagle solution set, and which markets they serve. S/He will know how the firm's products are positioned in the market, as well as having an understanding of the competitive landscape. The incumbent is also responsible for assisting with ad-hoc projects, and participating in greater initiatives. The Sales Engineer will coordinate activities with other sales engineering staff and manager, directed by the Manager of Sales Engineering and supported by senior level Sales Engineers.
The qualified candidate must have at least 5 years of direct technical and/or financial services experience. Direct experience working with the Eagle PACE, Eagle STAR, or Data Management/Accounting application software would be preferable, but not required. Database experience (MSSQL or Oracle) is a plus. Ability to work as a team is mandatory. Minimum of a 4 year college degree, BA/BS. Extensive travel will be required. Excellent oral, written and presentation skills are expected. Prior public speaking or presentation experience is required.
