As president and CEO, John Lehner shapes the vision and sets the strategy to execute Eagle’s mission to help the world grow assets efficiently. He has more than 24 years of experience in the financial services technology industry with a unique background spanning both the buy and sell side. Mr. Lehner joined Eagle in 2000 with the initial goal of establishing Eagle’s global sales and operations. Since that time his responsibilities have expanded and he has played a key role in developing and growing the other areas of the company. He was also instrumental in expanding the organization’s presence across five continents.
At BNY Mellon Asset Servicing, Mr. Lehner is responsible for the global middle-office outsourcing business and is also a segment manager responsible for a portion of the Americas clients for BNY Mellon’s Global Financial Institutions.
Under Mr. Lehner’s leadership, Eagle is recognized as a world-class technology, solutions and services provider in the global investment management community for its dedication to innovation, service and industry expertise. Committed to excellence and staying ahead of industry needs, Mr. Lehner has been the driving force behind Eagle ACCESS℠, its secure private cloud offering, representing approximately 80% of the firm’s new business around the world. Eagle’s platform offers key components powering the BNY Mellon global middle-office outsourcing business.
Mr. Lehner has significant expertise in building and leading successful organizations in the global financial services product, technology and services arena. Prior to joining Eagle, he held senior positions at GovPX, Advent Software, and Wang Financial Information Services. Mr. Lehner holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Asian Studies from Seton Hall University.
HEAD OF RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT
As head of relationship management at Eagle Investment Systems, Diane McLoughlin ensures that Eagle's clients are realizing the full value from their Eagle suite of products. With more than 24 years of experience in software implementations, business consulting and client services Ms. McLoughlin is uniquely qualified to address complex problems and lead her team in client-centric solutioning.From tactical discussions to working with clients to achieve their strategic corporate goals, Ms. McLoughlin and her team of world-class relationship managers are dedicated to client success.
Ms. McLoughlin joined Eagle in 2001 to manage the build out of Eagle's mutual fund accounting solution. In 2003, Ms. McLoughlin established the mutual fund practice within Eagle Global Professional Services, and in 2008 she began leading the Relationship Management team. Prior to joining Eagle, Ms. McLoughlin was a manager in the Financial Services practice at Deloitte Consulting and held several positions at Fidelity Investments and Digital Equipment Corporation.
Ms. McLoughlin earned a dual Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Computer Science from Boston College and her Master of Science in Computer Information Systems from Bentley College.
Marc J. Firenze, Chief Technology Officer
As chief technology officer of Eagle Investment Systems, Marc Firenze drives the software, technology and architecture decisions across Eagle's investment management suite and ensures that development directly supports the firm's corporate vision. With more than 20 years of experience in the design, development and implementation of financial technology solutions, he oversees a world-class team of technical and functional talent responsible for the software development, delivery, engineering and enterprise architecture for Eagle's suite of products.
Mr. Firenze began his career with Eagle in 1997 and has been intimately involved in many facets of the build-out of its products including new feature design, analysis and quality assurance. During his tenure at Eagle, he has played a significant role in every major release of Eagle software and was responsible for launching the enterprise technology platform which underlies Eagle's product suite. He was instrumental in the development and delivery of Eagle's data management solution and of Eagle's alternative investment accounting solution.
Prior to joining Eagle, Mr. Firenze worked for State Street Corporation, where he worked on the development of portfolio management and accounting systems. Mr. Firenze earned his Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and his M.B.A from Northeastern University.
Fred Schpero, Chief Financial Officer
With more than 25 years experience in the financial services industry. Mr. Schpero is responsible for overseeing all financial related issues of the company including, fiscal budgeting and planning, risk management, corporate finance, and contract negotiations.
Prior to joining Eagle, Mr. Schpero was the chief financial officer of Conning Corporation, an asset management and research firm focused on the insurance industry. Mr. Schpero also headed up the mergers and acquisitions team at Conning.
Mr. Schpero earned his B.S. in Industrial Management from Purdue University's Krannert School of Management and his M.S. in Professional Accounting from Northeastern University.
Dan St. Onge, Chief Operating Officer
With more than 17 years of experience, Mr. St. Onge brings a financial and control oriented perspective to his primary responsibility of overseeing Eagle's operations. Since joining Eagle in 2000, he has been instrumental in achieving organizational effectiveness and consistency of global business practices, including financial and resource forecasting, capacity planning, and development of common methodologies across all of Eagle's divisions and products. He has also been the driving force behind building and implementing sophisticated financial and operational systems and deploying enhanced management reporting structures.
Prior to Eagle, Mr. St. Onge was an audit manager at Arthur Andersen LLP where he focused on the execution of audit and business advisory services for publicly traded and private companies.
Mr. St. Onge earned his B.A. in Economics from the College of the Holy Cross and his M.S. in Professional Accounting from the Barney School of Business at the University of Hartford. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
Head of Product Management
Jeremy Skaling is responsible for overseeing the Product Management team at Eagle. In this capacity, Mr. Skaling directs a team of product managers who are charged with developing and delivering strategic product plans to support Eagle's solutions for data management, accounting and performance measurement.
Mr. Skaling joined Eagle in 2000 and has more than 13 years experience in the financial services industry.Since joining Eagle, Mr. Skaling has worked in product development, sales, and product management groups.In his prior role as manager of sales engineering, Mr. Skaling supported Eagle's global sales strategy.
Mr. Skaling earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance and his MBA from Bentley University.
Glenn Totten, HR Business Partner
Glenn Totten joined Eagle in 2006 to head Eagle's human resources department. Mr. Totten is responsible for the strategic planning and execution of all human resources functions at Eagle.As Eagle's Human Resources Business Partner, Mr. Totten provides leadership and strategic human resources consulting to Eagle's management team in the areas of compensation and benefits, employee development, recruitment and staffing. Mr. Totten works closely with Eagle's parent company, The Bank of New York Mellon Corporation, to ensure that Eagle is aligned with BNY Mellon's human resources initiatives.
Mr. Totten has 20 years of experience in the insurance, financial services and software industries in support of human resources and client service functions.Prior to joining Eagle, he served as the Human Resources Manager at eXcelon Corporation, now Progress Software.
Mr. Totten earned his Bachelor of Science in Management/Marketing from Eastern Connecticut State University.
Robert Erman, Head of Global
With over 18 years of experience delivering software and services to the financial services industry, Robert Erman joined Eagle in 2006 to head Eagle's global professional services division. In this capacity, Mr. Erman is responsible for growing the business and developing repeatable solutions around key market segments.
Prior to joining Eagle, Mr. Erman was an executive vice president at ANAQUA, Inc.Previously, Mr. Erman was part of the founding executive team at Plural, Inc., taking the company from start-up to acquisition by Dell in 2002. Throughout Mr. Erman's 15 year tenure at Plural, he was instrumental in growing revenue of the consulting firm to $100 million and expanding geographically throughout the United States.
Mr. Erman earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Lehigh University and an M.B.A from Fordham University.
Mal Cullen, MANAGING DIRECTOR,
HEAD OF the Americas & Eagle ACCESSSM
Mal Cullen joined Eagle in 2001 and is responsible for Eagle’s operations for the Americas and for Eagle ACCESS, Eagle’s secure private cloud. In this role, Mr. Cullen is responsible for overall operations and future growth and direction of Eagle ACCESS and of Eagle’s North American business for sales, marketing, professional services and support. Mr. Cullen has over 23 years of experience in the development, sales, implementation and support of investment management software solutions.
Prior to joining Eagle, Mr. Cullen spent 12 years at Financial Models Company (FMC). Over the years, he has successfully led the design and implementation of large-scale software installations throughout Canada, the United States and Europe.
Mr. Cullen holds an Honors Bachelor of Applied Economics with minor in Management Studies from the University of Waterloo.
John Legrand, Managing Director,
Head of EMEA/APAC
As the Managing Director of Eagle's EMEA and APAC regions, John Legrand is responsible for all aspects of the business for these geographies. In this role, he is responsible for implementing and executing strategic initiatives that increase market share in Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Mr. Legrand joined Eagle in 2007 and has over 15 years of sales, project management, consulting, and operations experience in the financial services industry. Mr. Legrand has a unique set of international experiences having worked for American and International organizations in both a domestic and international capacity. Mr. Legrand is headquartered in Eagle's Singapore office.
Mr. Legrand was previously the Executive Director of EMEA professional services and support at Advent Software. Prior to that, he was the operations manager for Linedata Services' LongView Trading system in the UK, Europe and Asia.
Mr. Legrand received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of New Hampshire, and a Master of Science in International Relations from the University of Bristol in the United Kingdom.
Head of bny Mellon program services
As Head of Eagle Investment Systems' BNY Mellon Program Services division, Dan Cavanaugh is responsible for all business operations supporting Eagle technology and business activities with BNY Mellon, Eagle's parent organization. In this capacity, Mr. Cavanaugh oversees all aspects of Eagle in supporting BNY Mellon as a client and partner.
Mr. Cavanaugh joined Eagle in 2000 and has held various management positions across our organization, including Development, Product Management, Global Professional Services, and Global Service and Support. Prior to joining Eagle, Mr. Cavanaugh was a manager in the Investment Management Business Advisory Services Division at Deloitte and held several positions at AIG Risk Management.
Mr. Cavanaugh earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Binghamton University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
HEAD OF Global Support
As the Head of Eagle’s Global Support organization, Todd Snodgrass directs the initiatives that ensure clients receive the support to leverage Eagle solutions efficiently and effectively. In 2008, he was tasked with redefining Eagle’s support organization to meet the demands of Eagle’s expanding client base. Mr. Snodgrass developed a client-centric support model and oversees a world-class team of global support professionals who are committed to our clients’ success.
With nearly 20 years in the financial operations industry, including 12 years at Eagle, Mr. Snodgrass has gained a unique perspective that allows him to relate to our clients’ needs. During his tenure at Eagle, Mr. Snodgrass has held various positions across the organization, including positions in Global Professional Services, Quality Assurance, Research and Development and was instrumental in the development of Eagle’s accounting solution.
Prior to joining Eagle, Mr. Snodgrass was with Putnam Investments where he was responsible for a team of fund accountants. Preceding his tenure at Putnam Investments, he served in fund accounting at The Boston Company.
Mr. Snodgrass holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business from St. Anselm College.
