7 June, 2010
BOSTON – June 7, 2010 – Eagle Investment Systems LLC, a leading provider of financial services technology and a subsidiary of BNY Mellon, has commenced its 2010 Client Conference being held at the Arizona Biltmore in Phoenix, AZ from June 6 – 9. This year’s keynote speaker is Harvey Pitt, the former chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission. In the wake of the impending tidal wave of regulatory reform legislation, Mr. Pitt will discuss the impact that new compliance mandates will have on today’s businesses.
This year’s theme, Continuity & Change, was selected because much of the content will address the unique challenges the financial services industry has faced over the past two years amidst economic uncertainty. The conference serves as an arena for providing knowledge and insight around new product functionality and industry trends. Clients will hear from thought leaders and industry experts regarding the current and future progress of Eagle’s solutions and services, client success stories and corporate initiatives. The sessions are open andinteractive enabling product, development, services and technology experts from Eagle to openly discuss new ideas and solutions with clients.
“I am very excited to welcome our keynote speaker and former SEC Chairman, Harvey Pitt,” said John Lehner, president and chief executive officer of Eagle Investment Systems. “His discussion is very timely and relevant to our industry right now as we all prepare for impending regulation and future changes.”
“I am also pleased with the level of attendance and sponsorship we’ve attracted for this year’s event. It’s not surprising, as we have a significant amount of new information to discuss, including our recent distribution of the V10.0 software release, the rapid increase in adoption of our hosted service, Eagle ACCESSSM, and our recent expansion into new global markets. The strong attendance at this event is validation of our continued investment and vision at a time when firms are looking for the right vendor and solution,” Lehner continued.
The conference promotes open communication between Eagle and its clients and presents tremendous opportunity for networking with Eagle, its guests and complementary vendor solutions, which will be showcased in the exhibit hall. The exhibition space is open for the duration of the conference allowing clients to engage with Eagle experts or spend time networking with some of the key companies that offer services and technologies that integrate with Eagle’s solutions.
